Seven Oaks Women’s Center is here to provide you with a full array of gynecology and women health services. Our physicians and nurse practitioners are experts (mammogram specialists, gynecology specialists, etc.) in the diagnosis and treatment of female disorders and are committed to helping you with your medical and gynecologic concerns.
The annual well-woman exam (aka, gynecology exam) is the foundation of good health. This includes a comprehensive history, review of systems, general physical exam as well as special attention to the breast exam and pelvic exam. A Pap smear will be done as needed after conferring with your physician about the new screening guidelines. Other indicated preventative test such as mammogram screening and bone density screenings (aka: DEXA bone scan) are also arranged. Regular evaluations by your doctor increase the likelihood that diseases or conditions are detected when they are in the early stages and most treatable. (And we will make sure that you are contacted or have access to the results of these tests.)
Here are just some of the gynecologic disorders and conditions we evaluate on a regular basis:
- Menstrual disorders such as heavy bleeding or irregular menses and severe menstrual cramps

Indicated labs can be drawn at the time of your visit at the lab drawing center conveniently located in our building or at other centers at times and locations that best serve your needs. And these conditions can be further evaluated in house by our in accredited ultrasonography, state of the art DEXA (bone density) scans and comprehensive urodynamics.
Once the evaluation is completed, your physician will discuss your options for treatment which in most cases will begin with a medical approach. We will provide a comprehensive approach to discuss all options including exercise, diet and nutritional guidelines. If your situation is best served by surgery, you can be assured that our physicians are well trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery and minimally invasive surgery. Most of these procedures can be done in an outpatient setting or involve only a short stay in the hospital. We also offer several procedures in the comfort of our office resulting in significant cost savings to our patients. (See the In-Office Procedures page.)
