She took an interest in me, my family history and my personal experience. She wrote down notes for me, so I wouldn't forget our plan of action. She set aside her device, made eye contact and actually listened. Love that! She values partnering with her patients to provide quality care and positive results. Their system, may take some patience at first, is quite effective. Their app and patient portal is user friendly and messages are returned in a timely manner. Unfortunately, the response I received was both unclear in relation to the question I asked and delayed by approximately one week. By the time I received a response, there was no longer enough time for me to make the necessary arrangements. I was told that appointment reminders are sent up to five days before an appointment. However, the response to my question came five business days later, which would still not have provided me with sufficient time to adjust my schedule. As a full-time employee and full-time student, I appreciate having the option to communicate through Klara, as I am often unable to make phone calls during regular business hours. Despite being told that my cancellation was not within 48 hours, I was still charged a $50 cancellation fee for supposedly canceling within 48 hours. I understand the calculation and paid the fee, but my concern was never simply about the charge. My concern was the contradictory information I received and the lack of accountability when I brought the issue to their attention. Unfortunately, I never made it to an appointment, so I cannot comment on the providers or clinical staff. My experience was specifically with the billing department and the staff responding to questions through the messaging system.
