Laura Richardson was born right here at Methodist Hospital and raised in Boerne,Texas! After graduating high school, she completed her undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University, earning a bachelor's degree in Human Biology, and minoring in Spanish. She then decided to leave behind the snow and mountains and return to Texas. She completed medical school at Texas A&M, enjoying her years in both College Station and Temple, TX. She completed residency at University of Texas at Houston, Memorial Hermann Hospital, serving as Administrative Chief Resident during her final year in 2009.
She has enjoyed her career in women's health, initially working in Arizona in private practice and then in Texas. It has been a true blessing to be able to care for patients in different phases of life. She is excited to be able to spend her time with Seven Oaks caring for patients in the hospital setting.
Dr. Richardson loves spending time with her husband and four children. They definitely keep her busy and on her toes! She calls it ‘blissful chaos’. She also loves to travel, organize, crochet, play the piano, drink Diet Dr. Pepper, and mingle with extended family!
