Dr. Abby Cook is excited to join Seven Oaks Women's Center. She grew up in Central Texas and is happy to be part of the San Antonio community.
She completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Texas at Tyler, but was undecided on a career choice at that time. She took time off to work in the medical field and even opened her own food truck before attending the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She completed a master's degree in Medical Sciences there and then went on to earn her medical degree at Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. She recently completed her residency training in Temple at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center.
Dr. Cook chose obstetrics and gynecology to create meaningful, long-lasting relationships with women and to be their trusted health advocate. She looks forward to caring for them as teens, through pregnancies, into mid-life changes and beyond.
She met her husband in medical school and enjoys spending time with their families, exploring outdoors, cooking, and traveling.
