Biography
Dr. Annaliese Kistler is very excited to be a part of Seven Oaks Women's Center. She is a born and raised Texan, originally from a small town in East Texas, growing up in Lufkin.
She completed her undergraduate degree at Baylor University in Waco with studies in biology, knowing the ultimate goal was to pursue a medical degree. Dr. Kistler completed her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She subsequently completed her OB/GYN residency at UT Southwestern at Austin, serving her last year as chief resident. During her residency, Dr. Kistler was awarded the Resident Distinguished Educator Award, and also was recognized as the Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology.
She is excited to practice in San Antonio and her motivation in patient care is to help patients understand their diagnosis and personal health issues. Dr. Kistler believes in working together with her patients in order to tailor a treatment plan that will fit into their life and daily activities. She truly finds joy in developing long-term patient relationships.
Dr. Kistler is board certified since 2015 and a member of American Congress of OB/GYN, Texas Medical Association, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
Dr. Kistler is married, and has two young sons, Cade and Cooper. When she is not spending time with patients, she enjoys traveling, good food and wine, running with her English Cocker Spaniel, Bailey, and playing outside and exploring San Antonio with her boys.
